After the Call

Reviews and partner agreements

Support for when an event needs a second set of eyes, or more independence than an internal team can offer.

What we do

Review and analysis, alongside statutory processes

We teach people to investigate and review their own events. Our own paid work is review and analysis. Independent learning reviews run alongside, and never replace, the statutory processes of the Ministry of Labour, the Office of the Fire Marshal, the coroner, police, the Ministry of Health, base hospitals and regulatory colleges.

Services

Three ways we help

Tier 2 Draft Review

A fixed-fee expert review of your own Post-Incident Analysis draft, with written feedback and a 60-minute debrief. The analysis and its findings stay yours. The review strengthens the method, the evidence trail, the language and the recommendations. $2,900 fixed, up to three days of effort.

Partner agreements

A standing annual relationship: in-house training, virtual seats for leaders, quarterly check-ins, and a 72-hour response commitment if a serious event happens. Essentials $6,000 or Plus $9,500 per year.

Tier 3 Independent Learning Review

An external review for the events that need independence: a death or critical injury, decisions of senior leaders in scope, low trust, or significant public scrutiny. Scoped and quoted per event, typically $18,000 to $45,000.

Partner agreements

An annual agreement for services that want a standing relationship, priced to sit within many municipalities' non-competitive purchasing limits. Check your own by-law.

Independence and conflicts

Before work begins we declare in writing any commercial interest relevant to the engagement. We do not work for an agency Scott Ramey may assess as a CFAI peer assessor. Choose your independent reviewer on the criteria set out in the manual, not on who wrote it.
